Pastor Paul Solomon dreamed of planting a church in South Florida with a simple goal—to help people connect with God so that they might reach their full potential. With the help of the initial Dream Team, 17 people committed to seeing this dream become a reality, Anchor Church began September 7, 2016 with its first ever small group. On December 18th, 2016, Anchor Church had its first ever Sunday Gathering. With 18 people attending, the first gathering took place at the Forum in Pompano Beach, FL.
From the beginning, Anchor Church has focused on reaching those who do not know God personally and building relationships through Small Groups. The life—giving message of the Gospel, the passion and joy of Sunday services, and the simple style of Anchor Church brings life to the community.
Today, Anchor Church is devoted to bringing a life-changing message to South Florida with the help of its members and leaders. Anchor Church is here to be hands and feet of Jesus to our community and be His voice to a generation that is searching.
