1. WHAT ARE YOUR WEEKEND SERVICES LIKE?
Each weekend at Anchor Church you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with exciting, contemporary worship music and a practical, relevant message. Children are well-cared for in a loving, quality fun-filled Anchor Kids service. Services start at 10am and are located in the clubhouse of Orchid Grove at 651 SW 1st Ave, Pompano Beach, FL 33060.
2. WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN I VISIT FOR THE FIRST TIME?
If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for awhile—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you.
3. WHAT DO I WEAR TO ATTEND YOUR SERVICES?
You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our Weekend Services. Come in what is comfortable for you, because Anchor is not about what you look like or what you wear.
4. WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
Anchor Church meets at 10am on Sunday morning in the clubhouse of Orchid Grove at 652 SW 1st Ave, Pompano Beach, FL 33060.
5. DO YOU HAVE A MIDWEEK SERVICE?
At this time we have a midweek small group that meets every Wednesday at our Pastors house at 622 SW 1st Dr, Pompano Beach, FL 33060. This small group focuses on different Bible study topics to better help you go through your daily routine and learn more about who you are in Christ. 6. WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?
At Anchor Church your children are a top priority. Our rooms are clean, safe, and staffed with loving workers. We offer a dynamic children’s ministry called Anchor Kids.
7. HOW CAN I MEET OTHERS AND GET CONNECTED?
There are many ways to get involved. You can begin by attending our Growth Track Small Group. This is a great way to connect. In these, you can build friendships, learn more about the life of our church, and have the opportunity to grow in your faith.
8. HOW CAN I BE DISCIPLED AND GROW?
Our desire is to see you become a fully-devoted follower of Christ. Our Small Groups offer the tools necessary to make this happen in your life. You can begin the process at anytime. We also believe in one-on-one discipleship. Where you can grow even deeper and become more intimate with the Savior by having regular one-on-one meetings with a person who is devoted to seeing you grow stronger in the ways of the Bible. 9. WHY DO YOU HAVE SMALL GROUPS?
Small Groups are an important part of Anchor Church; in fact, you haven’t fully experienced the church until you’ve experienced our small groups. Small Groups allow you to meet other members and develop relationships that will spur your relationship with God. As Anchor Church grows, small groups allow us to “stay small” and connected. 10. HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED IN A SMALL GROUP?
One of the easiest things to do at Anchor Church is to participate in a small group. Small Groups meet on a regular basis and provide a place for Bible study, fellowship, and support. Wherever you live, there’s a small group near you. Check out our online directory and visit a group this week.
